Radda Suits To Be In Guinness Book of Records –Prof Badamasi

Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda has been recommended for inclusion into Guineas Book of Records.

This is for his unprecedented records in areas of security, education and other aspects of human endeavours.

State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Professor Badamasi Lawal Charanchi gave the recommendation in Jibia while speaking at the commissioning of Theater Complex and Pediatric Ward of twenty capacity constructed by the Chairman of Jibia ni local government area Alhaji Bishir Sabi’u Maitan at Jibia Health Centre.

The Commissioner claimed that Dikko Radda was the first Governor in Nigeria to recruit 7,325 teachers within100 days in office, which he described as the best palliative to people of the state.

Professor Badamasi further explained that in an effort to curb insecurity, 1240 Civilian JTF were recruited from eight LGAs, trained and equipped with modern weapons.

He also said Governor Radda secured B7.8N for the procurement of weapons, vehicles and other security equipments apart from forming intensive security team to fight insecurity across the state .

In an attempt to cushioning the effect of removal of oil subsidy, the Commissioner claimed that the Governor had purchased additional 40 buses for KTSTA to ease transportation beside expending B2N for the purchase of Maize and Rice for distribution to to the less privileged.
